Marleni Brant-Pomare

I am Ms. Marleni, your director. I was born on the beautiful island of San Andres. I am bilingual. I speak Spanish and English.

I am married and the mother of two grown children (Narch and Narleesha).

I hold an advanced level Director’s Credential; A VPK and a Trauma Inform Care for center director endorsement. An AA degree in Early Childhood Education and a Professional Technician Certification in Bilingual Primary Education.

I am loving, caring and yet very firm. I am extremely passionate about what I do. “Preschoolers are my business”

I love “my children”; they are the drive of my life. It is my goal that they have the best early childhood experiences possible that will shape their lives spiritually, academically and socially.

I sincerely thank you for entrusting your precious little one to my care. I promise you that I will always do my very best.

I have been working at MUMPS for over 6 years.

I have completed my DCF 45 hrs. in training certificate requirement and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry.

I have been VPK assistant teacher. I am currently the food administrator for the school.

I love and enjoy working with kids.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Education (Business) at the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria with upper class division.  I have 8 years' experience in teaching and won the Best Teacher award of the year 2018 at Federal Government College Billiri, Gombe State Nigeria.

My name is Mrs. Evelyn Ferreras.

I am married and a mother of two boys.

I am originally from the Dominican Republic where I was raised by my parents in the city of Santo Domingo.

I feel like I was born with the desire and gift of teaching and helping younger kids to become the best version of themselves.

After graduating from Universidad Católica Santo Domingo, as a lawyer, I started working in my mother's school as a professor of 4th grade.

There I spent more than 12 years as a classroom Lead Teacher.

I worked with children of different grade levels.

God has blessed me and now I am a Lead Teacher here at MUMPS.

I have a beautiful group of kids; where with love, patience and passion I dedicate my talents and devotion to make their educational journey a funny and interesting one.

I have my degree in Early Childhood Education and I’m working towards my bachelor’s degree in education.

I was born on the beautiful island of Cuba.

I am a family-oriented person, in my family, we stick together. I am a proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren.

I am happy to be a citizen of the United States of America.

I attended the Instituto Superior Pedagogico de Matanzas, where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Science in Teaching History. I have my DCF Staff Credential Verification known as FCCPC.

I have 13 years of experience in Early Childhood. I have been employed here at MUMPS for over two years.

I enjoy teaching young children. I am very crafty and creative. I use these skills in my classroom, bringing innovative ways of teaching enjoyed by my students.

Yadira Hernandez Diaz

My name is Yadira Hernandez Diaz, born in Cuba, married, I have a 5-year-old son named Lucas.

I attended high school at the Vocational School of Art in Matanzas Cuba, in the specialty of Dance for 3 years, then I studied 4 Years at the National Circus School in Havana Cuba, where I graduated as a tightrope walker and travel to several countries to festivals and cultural meetings, in 2014 I worked here in the United States at the Ringling Brothers Circus as a tightrope walker.

It is a great pleasure to be part of this team of wonderful educators and to be able to share with the little ones everything I have learned; my mission is to make every child feel capable and happy every day.

I am the mother of two wonderful children. I am currently studying psychology, a field I am deeply passionate about.

I consider myself a loving and patient person, qualities that I deem essential both in my role as a mother and in my future profession.

Hello,

My name is Dinalba, I was born in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I am a wife and mother of two beautiful princesses.

I graduated from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo with a degree in Bioanalysis. Seven years ago, I emigrated to the United States with my family in search of new opportunities for growth. I made the decision to continue the path of teaching, so I prepared myself and obtained my credential to teach at Miramar United Methodist Preschool. My commitment is to work with the children, providing them with the necessary tools for their self-education, to contribute positively to their cognitive and emotional development.

Juana Alburquerque

My name is Juana Alburquerque. I was born on the 28th of February in the Dominican Republic. I fulfilled y teaching studies throughout my career by exercising my passion in different schools. I am the mother of two children, Solidiany Vega and Leandro Jaquez. In 1999 I had the opportunity to obtain my residency in the United States, where I began to work taking care of children for different families. Additionally, I worked in a few childcare centers and institutions. In November 2020 I completed my studies through rigorous classes at Miami Dade College based on childcare under the regulations of the Department of Children and Families in Florida, obtaining the corresponding certificates. Since then, I have been asked to care for different children, helping families with learned cognizance and expertise.
